Perfect Solution for on the go gaming,
This is a great portable screen for the PS3 Slim. Its designed to fit the PS3 Slim exactly and the monitor displays in stunning 720p quality. If you are going to a gaming tournament, you no longer need to carry around a large monitor around with you: plug and play and when you’re done simply close the monitor like a laptop.
You might think that this is unneccessary but when you get to feel and see the actual product, you learn to appreciate its value. Sure you can get a bigger screen for a better price, but this monitor offers the same quality as those monitors + portability.

|It gets the job done****but****,
It works as advertised, snap it on the PS3 slim, place it on your backpack with power cords and accesories and your PS3 is ready to perform anywhere a power outlet is available. Now the details.
-No HDMI
I know component cable can do 720p and 1080p (this screen does a higher resolution than 720p but not 1080p according to the maker specifications), but since the screen is made for the PS3, having the HDMI connection would have been nicer.
-Excellent screen performance.
Response time is good for all around gaming. I put it through its paces with GT5, KZ2, MAG, Uncharted 1 and 2, Demon’s Souls, Assassins Creed Brotherhood and in every game it performed as expected. The colors are good enough, the HD quality of the image very good (as expected, nothing off the charts good).
-No HD input (only a composite input)
This is a con. The screen is close to $200 (original price was $250), and at this price it should have come with one HD input or at least an HDMI connection. It is understandable that the absence of HDMI and HD inputs are for keeping the unit as slim and light as possible, but then the price should be lower, around $150.
-Sound
Is decent, and it has two headphone jacks for more privacy.
-Ease of use
I just love to carry my PS3 ready to play anywhere i go, be it hotels, parents house, etc. That alone makes this product worth getting. If you dont need this type of convenience then this screen might be useless.
-Overall
This is a specialty product, it has no competition on the market. In other words; if you want a snap on screen for your PS3 get it. Otherwise you would have to custom make something. At below $200 im very pleased with the screen, it does what it is supposed to do and my PS3 is as portable as it gets.

Unsatisfied with the price and lack of HD inputs i returned the screen and got this instead VIZIO M160MV 16-Inch LED LCD HDTV with Razor LED Backlighting, Black, it still fits in my backpack with all the cables and accessories and at the end of the the day this is a full HDTV LED design at a way better price. Shop carefully

|A Must Have/ Revelutionary/ PS3’s Best Kept Secret/ AWESOME!,
I was very excited about this product before it came out. I needed a screen to play my PS3 on (so that other people could watch their telivisions). I saw a video review of this on Youtube before I ordered it. I was very impressed with it. It is very lightweight and even for its size it gets the job done. I was amazed with the adjustible sound quality (its even louder than my laptop). The screen itself is a “little monster.” High definition on the go. You should see peoples faces when they see me playing the PS3 @ Starbucks, lol. Much applause to HORI for creating this masterpiece. I’m actually going to buy another one for a friend. The only flaws I’ve seen from it so far is the bulky “HORI” logo on the top of it and the inability to “snap on” to other systems (you can still use the “AV” inputs to play other systems, but you should still get the PS slim if you’re going to carry it around). Oh well, guess I have to buy a new skin to match my PS3 and cover up that HORI design (it doesn’t take away from the overall look though). Thanks though HORI for this wonderful creation.
